The assault resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
